Doug installed an OTA HDTV antenna. Sold us only what we required, nothing more. Explained exactly how the install was going to happen.
Arrived when he said he was going to arrive. The install was not completed in one day, but he returned to complete the job the next morning as promised. Very professional and I would recommend him to anyone.

We have decided it was time to stop spending top dollars for television we barely watch. I called Pinnacle Engineering and set up a meeting to install an HD antenna. Doug was simply amazing. He pointed out the best possible solution for my house, without trying to sell me something I did not require. I thought that a booster would have been necessary. After Doug's analysis, he advised me against it. The 14 channels that were potentially available in my area are all crystal clear.
The installation went smoothly (it takes a couple of hours), and was performed diligently.

Doug installed our OTA system yesterday and we couldn't be more pleased. Not only has Doug been a pleasure to deal with, but his work is impeccable. He explains all options and is always conscious of costs. He is meticulous in his work and leaves nothing to chance. We're now getting 14 extremely high quality image channels with the OTA system he installed and, to top it off, the payback for the system is only about 6 months. From there on, it will be free TV all the way! I highly recommend both Doug and the movement to "cutting the cable" in favour of free, OTA television.

Doug was awesome. A very knowledgeable, professional, courteous and kind individual, he came all the way to Gatineau to set up my OTA system. He took the time to explain what he was doing and what would be the challenges or best options for me. His setup is very discreet from the outside as he hid the cable well and even provided for a loop for the water to drain from on entry into the house, and secured everything outside and in the basement. He did everything in about 3 hours and a half. I now get 14 OTA HD channels with an image quality that rivals, if not surpasses what I had with Videotron cable.

I would recommend him to anyone (and I did through my Facebook page) needing this type of service.

J'ai engagé Doug pour installer mon antenne HD à la maison et je ne peux dire que du bien! Il m'a donné un diagnostic clair en ce qui a trait aux canals que je recevrait. Il a installé l'antenne de façon à ce qu'elle soit discrète en cachant le cable derrière la gouttière. Il a travaillé chez moi beaucoup plus que le 3 heures prévu et ne m'a pas chargé de temps supplémentaire. J'ai maintenant 12 canaux français/anglais tout à fait gratuitement dont la qualité du HD est supérieure au cable traditionnel. Doug a été courtois et professionnel et Je recommanderais ses services à tous ceux qui veulent couper le cable!

Sept 7/2017 OTA installation in Orleans, Ontario. Doug is a true professional: knowledgeable, friendly, honest. As stated in another review, he informed me of the potential use of a pre-amp but did his best to not require it. Without the pre-amp we get all 15 available channels from Camp Fortune and Manotick. I also really appreciated the fact that he listened to my preferences with respect to the installation (e.g. where to route the cables). I highly recommend Doug for an OTA installation. Thanks Doug!

Douglas installed an OTA antenna and wiring for us this weekend. He was incredibly pleasant, professional and an expert in his field. If you want a worry-free installation done right, from an expert who will tell you exactly what you can expect for this service, I would recommend these guys 100%.

My antenna was broken and my reception was terrible. Doug did an excellent job of getting me set up. He tidied everything up and got rid of extraneous wiring. I now get numerous channels including PBS and some US channels. Thanks Doug.

Doug did a great job. It was March 11, 2017, and Doug did not shy away from working on the outdoor dish at a wind shill of -30C. A new Shaw Direct HD receiver was installed and he took all the time it required to explain how to work the new receiver and the remote control.

Doug did a great job installing our antenna, all of the channels come in with a strong signal. He uses a meter connected to the antenna to fine tune the direction of the antenna to maximize the signal strength for the majority of channels coming in from both the Camp Fortune, and Manotick towers. He uses the same meter to minimize the reflective signals coming in. In our case he had to route the cable through the wall into the basement. He added a 'drip loop' to minimize any future water running down the cable towards the entry point which is sealed with silicone. I highly recommend Doug.

Bonjour, I had an outdoor antenna installed by Doug. I have no hesitation to warmly recommend him. I live in a wooden area in Cantley, I already had an indoor antenna that was providing good immage on 4 to 6 channel 80% of the time, with 20% of time with pixelling or no images. I was clear to Doug that I was looking to get something that would give me a 100% quality signal on all channel availiable. After his analysis of my geographical situations, Doug, provided me with 100% solution with now 9 channel with no pixelling. All this at a price equivalent of a 5 month services with Videotron Scamm. Doug knows his stuff, he took time and patience to answered all my questions and provided me with the right technical solution for my expectations. He is very dedicate, professional, and honest. Doug installed OTA digital antenna and preamp on my home in Barrhaven Before installing it he analyzed my situation before designing a solution for me based on the TV channels I wanted. I should say that it was a pleasure to deal with Doug both as a person and professionally. He is clearly very knowledgeable and experienced. More than that, his installation of the equipment and cables was solid and neat. It was very cold on the night of the installation, yet Doug was patient and meticulous in testing the signals and optimizing the direction of the antenna. Doug from Pinnacle Engineering installed an antenna on the roof of my house in Nepean and connected the antenna to my TV in my living room, and now I can get 15 channels over the air. Douglas did a great job. The installation was timely and neatly done. Douglas even took down my satellite dish, which I no longer need now that I receive free over the air channels. My impression is that Douglas is fair and honest too. He could have sold me a signal amplifier, as I was willing to spend the money. But he recommended against it, and it turns out that the signals I receive are strong enough so that all 15 channels are clear with no interruption or pixilation. I can say without hesitation that I am very satisfied with the end result. I would recommend Douglas to anybody who wants to have an antenna installed.
